ATLAS is our Data Lake, powered by DataBricks. It serves as the central repository for storing, managing, and analyzing huge volumes of data within our organization. This data lake is designed to empower data-driven decision-making, enhance collaboration, and drive innovation across all departments.
As a Data Analyst Intern, your role will be to enhance the functionality and utilization of Atlas by:
- Assisting in the management of Atlas Support Tickets: Act as a first point of contact for help tickets related to our Data Lake, ensuring swift and efficient resolution of queries and issues.
- Providing support on the Atlas Support Slack Channel, provide assistance and guidance to other engineers on coding questions and Databricks best practices, and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Conducting ad hoc data investigations, unearthing insights to drive business strategies and decisions.
- Troubleshooting data inconsistencies, ensuring the reliability and accuracy of our data.
- Crafting presentation slides, translating complex data findings into digestible and compelling narratives for non-tech teams.
- Developing and maintaining BI dashboards, creating visual representations that drive insights and actions.
- Documenting our data assets and dashboards, enhancing data discovery inside our data catalog.
ABOUT YOU
Skills and Qualifications:
- Academic Background: You are currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and you have some demonstrable practical experience in data analytics.
- Curiosity and Enthusiasm: You have a passion for data analytics and technology, coupled with a proactive attitude towards learning and problem-solving.
- Technical Skills: You are familiar with Metabase or similar BI tools, basic understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases, and interest in DataLake.
- Analytical Abilities: You have strong capability to analyze data, identify patterns, and derive meaningful insights to support business decisions.
- Communication: You are able to simplify complex data concepts for various audiences.
- Problem-Solving: You demonstrate efficiency in troubleshooting and resolving issues, demonstrating quick thinking and adaptability.
- Collaborative Spirit: You work effectively within a team, leveraging collaboration to meet collective goals.
- Continuous Learning: You demonstrate commitment to staying informed on the latest in data analytics technologies and practices.
- Fluency in English: You must be fluent in English, both written and verbal, to ensure effective communication across our global team.

- Coding Proficiency: You have experience with Python or R for data manipulation and ETL processes.
- Data Documentation: You are willing to apply data documentation and governance practices.
- Experience with Product Analytics: You are familiarwith product analytics tools, understanding the dynamics of product interaction and user experience.
- Social Media Monitoring: Skills in leveraging social media analytics, to track brand mentions, and trends, providing valuable insights into consumer behavior.
- Passion for FLB Industries: You are interested in Fashion, Lifestyle, and Beauty sectors, wishing to apply data analytics within these industries.
