If you're a proactive, creative, and hands-on person who wants to help improve Sequra's product having ownership and exposure to work hand in hand with seasoned professionals in a collaborative environment, this is the perfect place for you.

• Work with business people (in some cases like squad teams) in order to understand how they work and their needs (Help the business units to define and design their KPIs).

• Investigate the origins of the information and their operational logic and propose a better solution for the business.

• Clean, transform, test, and deploy, in our data modeling layer, datasets that are ready for analytics so Data Analysts and the whole company can work efficiently with our data

• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts and business to collect business requirements, define successful analytics outcomes, and design data models

• Automate business KPIs that can be easily accessed, used, and understood by the business people. For doing so:

  • you will design, develop, and maintain dashboards,

  • Improve Data Quality

  • you will design and develop reports for analyzing core business activity, focusing on operational metrics and KPIs.

• Not only provide data but extract insights and actionable recommendations with the purpose of helping the business units to make the best decisions.

• Real time Analytics

• Alert dashboards

• StoryTelling with data

• Work with several sources and types of data, like structured DWH, semi-structured Data Lake or Operational Data

• Contribute to the development of the Data Visualization Platform

• Communicate solutions and present them to both business and technical stakeholders

You’ll be a good fit if you have… 🙂

• 3+ years’ experience in a similar role, e.g. BI engineer, Data Engineer, Data Analyst with strong engineering background

• Strong SQL knowledge. You can write complex queries and optimize them for performance, scalability and ease of maintenance.

• You understand the importance of data modeling, familiar with Kimballs and star schema design

• +6months dbt experience git

• +2 years of experience with Python language: fluent in Pandas and other libraries for building Data Visualization Interfaces

• Highly quality and detail-oriented and a keen eye for accuracy. We need to trust all the data delivered by the team.

• Demonstrable experience working with Tableau or other data visualization and reporting tools such as PowerBI, Loker, Qlik or similar.

• Well developed time management skills. You will have to manage a high volume of requests and we expect you to properly prioritize and set proper delivery expectations (and deliver on time!)

• Ability to do functional analysis of projects/requests and go down to the technical detail of them (e.g., be able to do good functional analysis, kpi's, dimensions, and identify necessary data sources).

• Excellent interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication.

It would be nice if you also have... 🤭

• Fluent spoken and written Spanish & English

• Experience in the following technologies:

  • Tableau, that is our current analytical tool.

  • Metabase

  • Redshift, PostgreSQL (RDS).

  • Data Modeling: Snowflake or Star Schema.

  • Cloud Platform (AWS, Google, …).

  • Git/GitHub

  • Airflow scheduler
