We're looking for a Frontend Developer to join our Design System team and play a key role in shaping the foundation of our UI. In this role, you'll bridge the gap between design and development, creating and maintaining the core building blocks that ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency across our product.
You'll work closely with designers, engineers, and other teams to build high-quality, accessible, and performant components that scale. Your work will directly enhance the developer experience, helping teams move faster while maintaining a cohesive user interface.
If you have experience building exceptional web experiences, a keen eye for detail, and enjoy working at the intersection of design and engineering, we’d love to hear from you!
WHAT YOU'LL DO 🚀

- Write clean, efficient, well-documented code, and participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
- Work closely with designers to translate UI designs and specifications into reusable code, ensuring consistency across digital products.
- Partner with tech leads and feature developers to understand requirements, provide guidance, and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve internal issues related to the design system, ensuring timely solutions and maintaining system integrity.
- Champion the design system among the developers by promoting its benefits, educating on best practices, and advocating for its consistent application.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE 💥
You'll need:
- 3+ years of frontend engineering experience with strong proficiency in React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.

- Deep understanding of design system principles to drive a consistent visual language and component behavior across products.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain reusable frontend components and libraries that enhance consistency and scalability.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong aptitude for debugging and optimizing code for performance.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with designers, product managers, and engineering teams.
It would be great if you have:
- Experience with tools like Storybook for documenting UI components and creating living documentation.
- Practical experience in writing unit and integration tests for UI components, with proficiency in testing tools such as Jest, Testing Library, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Familiarity with implementing accessible design practices (e.g., WCAG guidelines) to enhance user usability.
