Now, we’re expanding our engineering team in Barcelona and looking for a Founding AI Engineer to join our small but mighty team, someone ready to push the boundaries of what’s possible with large language models and UX automation.
📎 What You’ll Do
- Build and optimize AI models that simulate realistic user behavior and feedback.
- Design and develop agentic workflows that enable synthetic users to interact intelligently with digital products.
- Work closely with the product team to create seamless, intelligent testing pipelines.
- Develop and fine-tune LLM-based systems that analyze designs, prototypes, and usability flows.
- Implement and experiment with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Evals, and other techniques to improve model reliability and insight quality.
- Explore and apply state-of-the-art methods in NLP, generative AI, and synthetic data generation.
- Help shape the technical foundations of a fast-growing, AI-first startup.
💪 Who You Are
- You have 3+ years of experience working with AI or ML models (LLMs, NLP, or generative systems).
- Hands-on experience with prompt engineering, model fine-tuning, and API integrations.
- Experience building or working with agentic models or multi-step reasoning systems.
- Hands-on experience working with image or vision recognition models (e.g. CLIP, BLIP, or multimodal LLMs) is a strong plus.
- Comfortable working in unstructured, fast-paced environments, where experimentation and iteration are part of the process.
- You’re curious, self-driven, excited to help define the next era of UX research and deeply committed to making that vision a reality. At Uxia, we all give 200% to everything we do, driven by purpose, speed, and impact.

- Knowledge of web development technologies (NodeJS / React / NextJS)
