Director of Product, Tracktwenty

Location: Spain or Remote

Tracktwenty Studio

Tracktwenty is an Electronic Arts mobile game studio based in the center of Helsinki, and with members in Romania, Sweden and Spain. The studio brought SimCity BuildIt to mobile and tablet, with more than 200 million installs to date.

The Challenge Ahead

Reporting to the Studio GM we are looking for an experienced Director of Product who will partner closely with the studio GM to align product strategy with our goals. You will lead a group of Product Managers, Game Designers and Producers and collaborate with product development to define and build a high-value roadmap, work with finance, marketing, and UA partners to assess performance and grow the game, interface with cross-functional and central teams to implement best practices. It is an important studio leadership role that will have a massive impact on the game and help shape the future of the business within EA Mobile. You will work with an experienced team coordinating the live service and the development of the features, content and technology for the live product.

  • Responsibilities
    • You will formulate and lead the product strategy for SimCity BuildIt, aligning it with the business objectives of Electronic Arts.
    • Use qualitative and quantitative data and rigorous testing to guide product strategy and grow the business. You must also be able to forecast the business and lead conversations and quarterly planning with the Finance Department.
    • Manage a team of game designers, product managers, and production specialists and foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
    • Develop a compelling product vision for SimCity BuildIt, guiding the team through its execution and evolution.
    • Conduct in-depth market analysis, identifying trends, opportunities, and potential threats to inform decision-making processes.
    • Collaborate with teams including design, engineering, marketing, and business development to deliver an exceptional experience to our players.
    • Promote a user-centric approach, prioritizing user experience and engagement to guide product enhancements.

 

  •  Qualifications
    • 10 plus years experience leading and motivating teams.
    • Experienced in translating strategic plans into tactical actions.
    • You will have a comprehensive understanding of mobile game development, monetization strategies, and live services.
    • Experience game economy management is a plus
    • Experience communicating product updates, milestones, and progress to internal and external partners with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders
