As a member of the Support organization, your focus is to deliver post-sales support and solutions to the Oracle customer base while serving as an advocate for customer needs. This involves resolving post-sales non-technical customer inquiries via phone and electronic means, as well as, technical questions regarding the use of and troubleshooting for our Electronic Support Services. A primary point of contact for customers, you are responsible for facilitating customer relationships with Support and providing advice and assistance to internal Oracle employees on diverse customer situations and escalated issues.

Responsibilities
As a Cloud Infrastructure Architect in Oracle CSS, you will
- Assess and analyse customers cloud infrastructure needs to make sure that Oracle solutions meet the customer’s objectives.
- Apply industry and Oracle best practices, product knowledge, and business acumen
- Undertake research, investigations and developments in Oracle cloud technology in an appropriate way and communicate the findings to the relevant interested stakeholder groups to inform business decisions.
- Ensure Oracle cloud technologies are leveraged appropriately using best practices.
- Be the Oracle Cloud infrastructure Delivery authority to ensure that customers make informed decisions regarding scope to achieve beneficial infrastructure solutions cost effectiveness, quality and reusability.
- Providing technical guidance on Oracle cloud and hybrid solutions to customer and other Oracle team members to underpin successful delivery.
- Support solutions around multi-cloud and hybrid cloud setups.
- Ensure successful handover from Implementation toward operations making sure the implemented infrastructure solution will fit the customer requirements.
- Maintain the Oracle infrastructure solution to make sure the customer demands needs will be met.
- Work closely with other CSS teams to make the implementation and operation of the customers Mission critical environments a success.
- Be a key contact for new business opportunities by supporting our presales team. Identify and promote opportunities for sales of Oracle products and services to support business growth.
- Actively lead and contribute to strategic programs and initiatives.
- In summary – you will help the customer take the best advantage of their investment in Oracle.
Job Requirements, Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience on Cloud Infrastructure Technologies (ideally Oracle).
- Read, write, and speak Spanish and English fluently.
- Undergraduate or higher-level degree(s) holder or have equivalent work experience.
- Deliver services both remotely or on-site (depending on the customers requirements).
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, including the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical staff at all levels.
- A positive and innovative attitude around design and delivery of solutions to customers.
- Ability to break down complex problems/issues to determine the appropriate assessments and recommendations to fix the issues.
- Think out of the box and be creative with solutions.
- Keen to learn new cloud technologies.

Preferred Technical Skills:
- Overall good knowledge of Oracles private, hybrid and public cloud solutions.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services and architecture.
- Strong knowledge of physical and SDN network technologies.
- Good automation process and technology experience around DevOps, GitOps, AI/ML, microservices, Terraform.
- Good understanding of cloud security.
- Good knowledge of relevant open source cloud technologies.
- Knowledge of Cloud native design solutions.
- Understanding of Oracle Database, Oracle Middleware and PaaS services.
- Knowledge on AI technologies will be valuable:
- Good understanding of AI infrastructure (GPU, RDMA, Nvidia software & tools).
- Experience optimizing AI infrastructure/hardware performance, power consumption, cost, and scalability of the computational stack.
- Understanding of AI/ML computational science and infrastructure.
- Experience designing and implementing Generative AI and RAG use cases or any other common AI use cases.
