As a Cloud Engineer in our Data & AI team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the cloud infrastructure that supports our data management operations. You will work closely with our development and operations teams to ensure the availability, scalability, security, and performance of our cloud systems. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Design, implement, and maintain highly available and scalable cloud architectures (AWS and Azure platforms). 
  • Manage and optimize cloud services, including storage, databases, networking, and computing services. 
  • Automate deployment, monitoring, and scaling processes using tools such as Terraform, CDK, Ansible, Kubernetes, etc. 
  • Collaborate with other technical teams to ensure proper integration of cloud systems with other parts of the infrastructure. 
  • Implement and maintain cloud security practices, such as access control, data encryption, and security monitoring. 
  • Research and evaluate new cloud technologies and tools to improve the efficiency and reliability of our infrastructure. 
  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues related to cloud infrastructure. 
  • Collaborate with other technical teams to properly integrate AWS-based cloud systems with other parts of the infrastructure. 
  • Implement and maintain AWS security practices, such as configuring security groups, IAM roles and policies, and security audits. 
  • Evaluate and recommend AWS best practices and services to optimize cloud infrastructure. 
  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues related to AWS-based cloud infrastructure. 

Requirements: 

  • Prior experience working as a Cloud Engineer or a similar role. Experience with AWS is highly valued. 
  • Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, CDK, CloudFormation, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc. 
  • Experience with containers and container orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes. 
  • Scripting knowledge in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell). 
  • Experience in deployment automation. 
  • Ability to design scalable, high-performance infrastructure architectures. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team. 
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams. 
  • Interest in gaming is a big plus. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. 
  • At least 5 years of experience in data engineering with a significant focus on cloud environments, specifically AWS and Azure. 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to design and optimize data workflows for efficiency and scalability. 
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams. 
  • Certifications in AWS and Azure (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Data Engineer Associate) are highly desirable. 

 
Preferred Skills: 

  • Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) and real-time data processing (Kafka, Stream Analytics). 
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools and platforms.
