What's your new role about?

Our top-of-the-strategy and execution is a critical priority for DAZN. With a vast array of content on our site and platform, as well as extensive free content offering, we aim to transform how we engage and retain our users. Our vision is to open top of the funnel and showcase our free content proposition to all sports fans. We have created a top-of-funnel function to bring and keep users on our platform. By showcasing our VOD and select live content on our platform, we intend to convert traffic into engaged, paying members.


This role can be based in Hammersmith, London, or in Vienna, Austria, Madrid, Spain.

As our new VP Business Analytics - Top of the Funnel, you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Lead the development and execution of strategies to derive top-of-funnel insights and make commercial recommendations that drive business growth.
  • Analyse complex business data and market trends to provide deep insights and actionable recommendations for optimising traffic retention and conversion rates.
  • Develop and implement predictive models to forecast customer behaviour, optimise product and marketing efforts, and identify new growth opportunities.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of advanced dashboards and reporting tools to monitor KPIs and track the success of marketing campaigns.
  • Present findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership, influencing strategic planning and business development initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align business insights with overall objectives and drive data-informed decision-making.
  • Foster a data-driven culture within the organisation, championing the importance of insights in driving business strategy and growth.

You'll have:

  • Extensive experience in business insights, analytics, or a related field, with a proven track record of deriving actionable insights and making strategic recommendations that drive business growth.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in analysing complex business data and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
  • Ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations that influence business strategy and improve performance.
  • Leadership experience in managing and mentoring a team of data analysts, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.
  • Expertise in using analytics tools and software to develop predictive models and optimise marketing efforts.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • A passion for fostering a data-driven culture and promoting the strategic use of insights to drive business outcomes.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals and objectives.
