Our SW Engineering team is on the lookout for a .NET Staff Engineer to be responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise within our Payments Processing domain

 

About the role:

This role will be instrumental in shaping the technical direction of the domain while ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable solutions that align with our enterprise architecture standards.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership & Strategy.
  • Lead the technical vision and strategy within the domain, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with Domain Lead and Domain Solution Lead to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
  • Work closely with Architecture team to ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards.
  • Guide and influence technical decisions across multiple teams within the domain.
  • Drive technical excellence and innovation within the domain.
  • Establish technical standards, best practices, and coding guidelines
  • Identify and address technical debt.

About you:

  • 8+ years of software development experience.
  • 3+ years of technical leadership experience.
  • Strong background in distributed systems and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
  • Understanding of payment processing systems and financial technology.
  • Experience with high-throughput transaction processing.
  • Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with financial industry regulations.
  • Experience with API design and integration patterns.
  • Experience with CI/CD practices and DevOps culture.
