Our SW Engineering team is on the lookout for a .NET Staff Engineer to be responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise within our Payments Processing domain
About the role:
This role will be instrumental in shaping the technical direction of the domain while ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable solutions that align with our enterprise architecture standards.
Your responsibilities:
- Technical Leadership & Strategy.
- Lead the technical vision and strategy within the domain, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals.
- Collaborate with Domain Lead and Domain Solution Lead to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Work closely with Architecture team to ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards.
- Guide and influence technical decisions across multiple teams within the domain.
- Drive technical excellence and innovation within the domain.
- Establish technical standards, best practices, and coding guidelines
- Identify and address technical debt.
About you:
- 8+ years of software development experience.
- 3+ years of technical leadership experience.
- Strong background in distributed systems and microservices architecture.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Understanding of payment processing systems and financial technology.
- Experience with high-throughput transaction processing.
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with financial industry regulations.
- Experience with API design and integration patterns.
- Experience with CI/CD practices and DevOps culture.
