The team is part of the SuiteCloud Platform, a platform-as-a-service (PaaS) for customizing and extending NetSuite’s core capabilities, and a key driver of NetSuite’s success in meeting the needs of our broad customer base. Customers build on the platform directly or install SuiteApps built on the platform by independent solution vendors. The team currently has members based in Spain, Czechia and Philippines.
What you will do
You will be working on the design and implementation powerful APIs that enable platform developers to interact with NetSuite and to build rich UI experiences. You will be developing in Java, JavaScript and TypeScript, and will be thinking about clean code, versioning, tooling, testing and architecture.
Our Platform is used by more than 40k companies around the globe with many different requirements, so our solutions should be generic enough for anyone to use them and fullfill their needs. Are you ready for the challenge?
You will work closely with other development teams and departments, product management, user experience, documentation and QA to define and implement new product offerings while ensuring the continued functionality of the existing SuiteCloud Platform.
Your qualifications and skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree or relevant experience in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
- Drive for software design best practices and clean code principles
- Knowledge or interest in any of Java, Javascript, TypeScript.
- Knowledge of Design Patterns, Object Programming Paradigm and SOLID principles
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to abstract functional requirements
- Open mind for discussion and team collaboration
- Pride in your work and a desire to delight the customer motivates you to take initiative, responsibility and ownership of your projects
- A positive and resilient personality - you must be able to embrace feedback and have a desire for continuous iteration and improvement
- Fluent level of spoken and written English
- Flexibility to work with geographically distributed teams
- Valid work permit for Spain.
