We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Software Engineer specializing in API integrations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable APIs Integrations. You will play a critical role in enhancing our platform’s Meter Data and EAC data integration capabilities.
YOUR CHALLENGE
Design, develop, and maintain integrations with third-party services.
Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to understand integration requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
Implement and manage APIs, gateways, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
Ensure the reliability, security, and performance of API integrations.
Develop comprehensive API documentation and provide support for external developers and partners.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve issues related to API integrations in a timely manner.
Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers.
Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in API development and integration.
MUST-HAVES
5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on API development and integration.
Proficiency in TypeScript and experience with modern JavaScript frameworks.
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
Strong understanding of RESTful design principles.
Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or other cloud providers.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
C1 English Level
NICE-TO-HAVE
Experience with microservices architecture and related technologies.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
Previous work in Energy industry.
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
Experience with database technologies such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools.
Experience with OAuth, JWT, and other API security standards.
