Yego was born in 2016 when shared mobility with a light vehicle was still at an experimental stage. Nowadays it is a reality and YEGO already operates in 5 Spanish cities (Barcelona, Valencia, Malaga, Zaragoza and Sevilla) and 4 French cities (Bordeaux, Toulouse, Niza and Paris). To maintain our “we do it in-house” philosophy and keep growing internally, we are looking for a Senior React-Native Engineer who enjoys designing and developing innovative applications that help us to provide a unique experience for our more than 100K monthly riders. Working along with a small but talented team you will be generating a continuous and close impact on our product.
JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE: Senior React-Native Engineer.
POSITION OF THE JOB WITHIN THE ORGANISATION: Software Team (Headquarters, Barcelona).
MAIN MISSION: Developing the future of our main products, collaborating closely with the Product Team, the Web, and Back-End Team to ensure that our user experience remains and becomes always more exceptional.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with Product Owners to come up with the best solutions and implementation for a project,
Develop new and existing products and features,
Ensure the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of the apps,
Contribute to the estimations, planning, and execution of projects, features, and integrations,
Write high quality and performant code,
Bringing new improvements to make from your own experience,
Collaborate and participate in team decisions by bringing new ideas or suggestions that foster our continuous improvement mindset.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
Extensive professional experience in React-Native,
Strong knowledge of Javascript and Typescript,
Experience with Redux, React-Navigation, and other React-Native libraries,
Comfortable with agile development methodologies,
Fluent in Spanish and English,
Problem-solving skills and open to feedback,
Passionate about technology and the ability to learn new concepts quickly,
Proactive and autonomous, bring up ideas and solutions,
Contribute to our approach to our Mobile products, including design, documentation, monitoring, testing, …
