We are excited to open a position on our Platform Infrastructure team within Kiwi.com’s Platform domain. Our mission is to empower developers to efficiently build and deploy high-quality software through stable, scalable infrastructure and standardised tooling. We eliminate repetitive work and tackle common engineering challenges, allowing developers to focus on creating innovative travel features. Our belief in automation, self-service, and operational efficiency drives us to continuously evaluate and optimise our technology, ensuring our infrastructure is a competitive advantage. Your role will directly contribute to the success of developers and enhance the travel experience for millions of Kiwi.com users.
What you will do
- In your role, you will design, develop, and maintain Kiwi.com’s infrastructure to ensure its optimal performance and reliability.
- As part of your duties, you’ll enhance our internal product, the Platform API, ensuring its smooth integration throughout Kiwi.com.
- Automating manual processes to significantly reduce repetitive work will be one of your key responsibilities.
- You will ensure that projects are delivered with high technical quality and within designated timelines.
- Communicating clearly with stakeholders and engineering teams to manage expectations and swiftly address any obstacles will fall under your purview.
- You’ll consult and support developers, encouraging best practices and conducting code reviews.
- As part of our team, you will influence improvements across the entire software lifecycle management.
- You will also provide specialised support in at least one of our core domains, such as Cloud, Terraform, Kubernetes, Networks, or Bare-metals, leveraging your expertise to advance our infrastructure capabilities.
What you will need
- A strong understanding of managing and scaling complex infrastructure, with experience in cloud-based environments such as AWS or GCP.
- Your demonstrated proficiency in using Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform and command of programming languages such as Python or Go.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and their best practices.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools, including Grafana and Datadog.
