⭐ About the role
As a Senior IT Support Engineer at Lodgify, you are a pillar in our team. Your objective is to be an expert in the technologies used by different departments at Lodgify and to be able to provide top-notch quality services to all Lodgifiers. You will be responsible for the smooth operation of all of our systems 24/7, identifying weaknesses and proposing ways for improvements while at the same time looking after the correct operations of our systems, integrations, backups, monitoring as well as the integrity and security of our business data and employees. As part of our team, you will be also assisting the rest of the IT team members as an expert in our technologies to guide them and help them as a 2nd level of escalation inside the IT Team.

⭐ How will you make an impact?

    •  IT Support & Management: Act as 2nd level escalation for IT issues, manage advanced user access and administer office IT hardware, networking devices, and servers.
    • Security & Compliance: Prioritise and secure internal tools, ensure IT security across systems, implement security policies, manage backups and updates per regulatory standards, and participate in risk assessments, audits, and compliance reviews.
    • System Integration & Maintenance: Oversee integrations between IT systems and external platforms, maintain VoIP and telephone systems, enhance system monitoring and alerts, and ensure business continuity through disaster recovery procedures.
    • Documentation & Training: Extend and improve technical documentation and user guides, provide technical training and knowledge sharing.
    • Infrastructure & Development: Design new infrastructure considering risks and compatibility, implement high availability and fault tolerance, lead incident management, and improve automation to reduce manual workload.
    • Strategic Planning: Assist in POCs and technology evaluations and participate in roadmap and decision-making processes.

⭐ What makes you a great fit?

    • +4 years of experience in the IT environment/sector
    • You have previous experience with JIRA or other Ticketing systems 
    • Knowledge of Cybersecurity basic concepts
    • Experience with Identity Provider/SSO platforms such as Jumpcloud or Okta
    • Previous experience with API integrations
    • Knowledge of Zero Trust Network and EDR 
    • Network Administration experience: designing, monitoring, troubleshooting
    • Good level of English and Spanish (spoken and written)
