To support our team we are searching for a Senior Frontend Engineer (React Native) (f/m/d) to be based in our Barcelona office.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Design and implement mobile features using React Native, working across TypeScript and occasionally native modules.
- Build robust integration patterns between native and web-driven experiences.
- Contribute to the app lifecycle by working with CI/CD tooling (e.g. GitHub Actions, Bitrise or similar), over-the-air updates and participating in release processes.
- Ensure high code quality through automated tests and thoughtful code reviews, collaborating closely with QA to deliver stable releases.
- Monitor app health via tools such as Sentry and proactively address performance and stability issues.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint reviews where you’ll be able to demonstrate your work to stakeholders.
- Help evolve our mobile platform by actively contributing to technical discussions, proposing improvements where you see opportunities.
WHO YOU ARE
- 5+ years of experience building production mobile apps, with deep expertise in React Native.
- Solid iOS knowledge (Xcode, Apple tooling, App Store processes). Experience with native modules is a strong plus.
- Proficient in TypeScript and familiar with modern state management approaches (background in web development is a plus).
- Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitHub Actions, Bitrise or similar platforms; familiarity with over‑the‑air update solutions is a plus.
- Ability to manage the full app lifecycle – from development to store submission – with awareness of Apple’s review guidelines.
- Strong mindset around clean code, maintainability, and sustainable engineering practices.
- Fluent in English and comfortable working in a hybrid, diverse, and distributed team.
