About You

You are an analytic thinker with a passion for driving product innovation and business growth through data-driven insights. With substantial experience in consumer software and/or gaming analytics and funnels. You are adept at navigating complex data to extract meaningful insights on user retention, engagement, monetization, and product interaction. You have the product and business knowledge to serve a diverse set of stakeholders, and can also proactively produce insights that get our teams working on the right thing, faster.  

Your analytical skills are matched by a strategic mindset and an ability to communicate insights in a simple and compelling way. You find purpose in working for a company that values both its product and its people, and you bring a seasoned blend of analytical, strategic, and technical skills to the table.

What You’ll Do

  • Work with business, product, and engineering teams to [plan → design → ship → evaluate] experiments/AB-Tests, and communicate their results/impact with the company
  • Help define and document our event taxonomy, and work directly with product teams to define new events that is consistent with our overarching event structure and taxonomy
  • Work directly in Amplitude and BigQuery to extract truths and trends that inform and guide business and product decisions
  • Uncover retention and growth drivers by leveraging exploratory analytical techniques like
  • Collaborate with analysts/data-scientists in building scalable, and reproducible analyses, and communicate their insights with the company
  • Dive into our data to discover insights on player behavior across different cohorts, segments, and stages of the user lifecycle, and communicate collect feedback on your findings from peers, and business and product partners

Preferred Skills

  • 6+ years of experience in data analytics
  • Experience in collaborating others to [plan → design → ship → evaluate] large scale product experiments
  • Experience with BigQuery, SQL, Amplitude (or similar tools)
  • Experience with analytics coding tools Python/Jupyter Notebook/R, and Git
  • Strong experience in defining event taxonomy for consumer digital applications
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills working in a fully distributed team
  • Prioritizes relationships with colleagues and partners, enjoys mentoring and guiding others
  • Ability to explain complex topics in simple terms
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring others in both craft and effective communication

About the Opportunity

  • This is a full-time position
  • We are 100% remote (work from anywhere!)
  • This role is open to applicants who can work in EMEA and American time zones
