Senior Backend / Devops Engineer (f/m/x) en Barcelona

Your tasks

• Defining and implementing development workflows and automations that enhance the development experience for our large organization.
• Designing robust CI/CD workflows.
• Managing processes such as CI/CD, developer onboarding and offboarding, application security audits and artifact management among others.
• Supporting and advancing the capabilities of our internal developer portal.
• Designing and implementing solutions that integrate with identity and access management technologies such as SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language) and OIDC (OpenID Connect).
• Your expertise in cloud infrastructure, container orchestration, and DevOps practices will be essential as you work collaboratively with various product development teams.

Your skills:

• Proven experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Proficiency in shell scripting for automation tasks.
• Hands-on experience developing Backend web services.
• Deep understanding of developer experience principles and practices (DevEx).
• Experience with Linux environments and system administration.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services and deployment strategies.
• Proficient in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes for managing containerized applications.
  
  

• Experience with identity and access management protocols, particularly SAML and OIDC, and the ability to design secure solutions integrating these technologies.
• Familiarity with GitHub.com on an admin level, focused on enhancing developer experience in a large tech organization.
• GitOps Experience: Familiarity with GitOps practices, specifically using tools like ArgoCD for continuous delivery and deployment, enabling efficient management of application states through Git repositories.
• AWS Networking Knowledge: Basic understanding of AWS networking tools, including VPC (Virtual Private Cloud), Security Groups, Transit Gateway (TGW), and related services to effectively manage and secure cloud network configurations.

This team is responsible for managing the internal Developer Platform, aiming to streamline the development process and improve overall efficiency.

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with solid experience in DevOps practices, Kubernetes, and AWS. Your contributions will play a key role in ensuring that our developers can work effectively and efficiently across the board.
