We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer (Ruby on Rails) (They/She/He) to join our team!
🚀 About the role
We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our development team, with solid experience in backend development and the Ruby on Rails framework.
Be part of a multidisciplinary team and a highly competitive tech and product department. You will closely collaborate with the product owner and the development team while also interacting with other teams: sales, marketing, success, etc.
This role involves improving and maintaining our current SaaS, as well as adding exciting new features to our product.
We are looking for someone experienced but also eager to learn, humble, and with strong collaboration skills to help us get the most out of everything we do.
🚀 What’s expected from you
- Contribute your knowledge and experience to discuss technical approaches and solutions to problems.
- Code in Ruby on Rails to execute the required backend tasks.
- Take ownership of your work and deliver the tasks assigned to you.
- Have proven, extensive experience as a backend developer with Ruby, Ruby on Rails, REST APIs, and other relevant backend technologies.
- Be able to tackle problems independently, providing optimal solutions within appropriate timeframes.
- Perform the full agile development cycle: estimation & refinement, technical analysis, and collaboration with other teams within the company to deliver features and improvements.
- Maintain high standards in quality, clean code, testing, and other best practices.
- Be a team player, always open to listening and helping others.
- Fluent in English.
