Entrust is currently looking for a Security Architect to join our Global PS Architects team. This position will be based in Spain or UK, and will report to the Manager Solutions Architect.
Position Summary:
This role will challenge the successful candidate to hone their system architecture and consulting skills keeping in mind the quality, scalability, and robustness required for an integrated security solution delivered to our target markets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assess and document customer security and functional requirements
Create IT architectures
Develop security policies and procedures
Conduct Threat Risk Analysis
Write, review, assess and update Certificate Policies (CP) and Certificate Practices Statements (CPS)
Conduct fit-gap analysis to help determine the requirement for custom software components to fill function gaps between customer requirements and commercial product functionality
Prepare templates and tools for use by Architects in other regions
Develop best practices as it pertains to IT architectures for security-centric solutions
Position Requirements and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field of study
5+ years of experience in the IT Security field
Thorough understanding of PKI, and in particular Entrust PKI offerings (on premises and hosted/managed), in support of:
Experience implementing Electronic passport and National ID projects based on:
Experience in architecting IT solutions in support of:
Experience working with Windows and Linux operating systems.
Highly Desirable Qualifications:
Experience in Entrust Digital Signature products (Remote Signing Engine, Signature Automation Engine - formerly TrustedX)
Experience in Safelayer legacy KeyOne PKI products
Experience working with container-based and cloud technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS…)
One or more of the following certifications/designations:
Entrust Consultant Certification Program
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
Certified Smart Card Industry Professional (CSCIP) certification
Common Criteria EAL1 Evaluation Methodology certifications
ISO/IEC 27001 Foundation
