About You


First off, you love to play chess. A lot. Secondly, you are an experienced product manager who has worked in consumer tech and/or gaming to deliver awesome experiences for users. You understand the craft of product ownership through planning, data, and experimentation, but you also have an excellent intuition for exciting user experiences. You would love to be driving the core gameplay experience on the world’s #1 chess platform, including real-time chess, tournaments, leagues, and more! You are humble with a sense of humor and don’t take yourself too seriously. You have been working in or dreamed of working in the gaming industry and are ready to turn your talents towards chess!




What you'll do


Work with a team of highly experienced designers, project managers, and engineers on creating the most robust, delightful, stable, exciting, fair, friendly, and rewarding online chess experience possible for the 15M+ games played every day. Everything about the user-facing experience of playing chess will be in your playground!




Preferred Skills

  • 5+ years managing awesome consumer or gaming products
  • Strong intuition for gameplay and fun
  • Strong data analytical skills
  • Experience working with a remote/distributed teams
  • Sense of ownership and responsibility



About the Opportunity
