Descripción de la oferta

We’re UserTesting, a leader in experience research and insights; we believe the path to human understanding and great experiences start with a shared understanding—seeing and hearing how another person engages with the world around them and taking in their perspective. Working at UserTesting, you will be empowered to help organizations discover the human side of business–transforming how they work, collaborate, innovate, and bring new products and experiences to market. This is what inspires us, and it’s how we enable companies to connect with their audiences naturally and organically through an experience that is uniquely, and intentionally human.

A trusted company by top brands for 15+ years, UserTesting, recently merged with UserZoom, has over 3,400 customers in 50 countries, including 75 of the Fortune 100 companies. Joining our team means being part of a passionate group focused on transforming how companies learn from and understand their customers. Come join us and help us build the engine for human understanding.

The Team

We are a globally distributed team, although many of us live near to company offices and choose to work in-person if we want to - those locations include Vancouver, Edinburgh, London, Barcelona and Paris. Our office spaces have been designed to support the kind of activities like workshops or product planning and these spaces are connected seamlessly to our colleagues around the world via Zoom rooms.

Our team works closely with engineers, data scientists, product designers, UX writers and other specialties to design and build the platform our 3,400 customers rely on for human insight in their own product development process. This team rolls their sleeves up and dreams big while delivering value predictably.

We’re collaborative by nature, user-centered (obviously) and passionate about delivering a product that meets the needs of our customers and contributors.

Our culture is one of kindness and inclusivity and we encourage and support each other to be our true selves at work believing that we produce our best work in this way.

The Opportunity

As a Product Manager at UserTesting, you'll be responsible for managing and driving your product area's execution to ensure our product continues exceeding our customers' expectations.

This role is for a strong communicator who can align the team behind the vision for our product. You should be good at saying no and understanding the balance between building and shipping great products. You'll need to be analytical and not release into a vacuum. This means defining and tracking important business and usage data to measure the results for your product areas.

You'll be working closely with design, engineering, marketing and customer support to drive product initiatives from inception through development, release and beyond to ensure we continue delivering amazing customer experiences.

This role is based in Barcelona.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Deeply understand the needs and problems of our customers.

  • Lead and collaborate with a cross-functional product team including design, engineering, marketing and more through rapid product cycles to deliver new features our customers will love.

  • Be the voice of the customer (that means both current and future) in all aspects of product development and delivery.

  • Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring stories are well-defined and prioritized.

  • Collaborate closely with Scrum teams to deliver high-quality, incremental product improvements.

  • Define user stories, acceptance criteria, and refinements to support development.

  • Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable backlog items.

  • Participate in sprint planning, standups, and team retrospectives.

What we are looking for:

  • Solid experience as a Product Manager, in an agile SaaS environment.

  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles as they relate to web applications. Bonus for work experience in UI/UX design.

  • Proven track record for developing, managing, and launching web-based software products.

  • Strong technical and data-analysis skills.

  • A high level of English communication skills is a must, written and spoken.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication, as well as interpersonal skills.

  • Agile, adaptable and capable of delivering new products and features iteratively.

  • Knowledge on all aspects of Lean methodologies, including customer development, hypothesis-driven planning, and evidence-led product design.

  • Experience working in a data-driven environment, ideally with qualitative and

quantitative research experience.

  • Must be resourceful, self-motivated and able to be successful in a non-traditional entrepreneurial team-based environment.

Preferred

  • Familiarity with user experience research principles and practices.

  • Experience working with distributed teams.

  • Experience with accessibility best practices.
