We are looking for a talented and driven Lead Data Analyst to join our AdNetwork team at AppGrowth. In this role, you will spend approximately 40% of your time providing leadership and guidance to a team of 2-3 data analysts, while dedicating the remaining 60% as an individual contributor, using your expertise to deliver impactful insights. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and business operations, to address all data-related needs. Your analytical skills, proficiency in Python, and expertise with pandas will be key to uncovering valuable data-driven insights that will help shape our advertising strategies and enhance the performance of our ad campaigns.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of 2-3 mid to senior data analysts, providing guidance on data analysis techniques and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and business operations, to understand data requirements and business objectives related to advertising campaigns.
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines to ensure efficient data extraction and transformation processes.
- Create insightful, actionable reports and dashboards for key stakeholders to monitor and improve advertising performance metrics.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of campaign data to provide actionable recommendations for improving ad targeting, bidding strategies, and overall performance.
- Identify and troubleshoot data quality issues to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data analysis and advertising.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience, including 5+ years in data analysis.
- 2+ years of proven experience leading and mentoring a team of data analysts, or 4+ years of experience as a Senior Data Analyst.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and Python, with a solid understanding of data analysis techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- A proactive, self-driven approach to work with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in the advertising industry or a strong understanding of ad network operations.
