We are looking for a Senior iOS Engineer (d/f/m) to help shape the future of Kleinanzeigen’s iOS app, used by millions of people every month. You will be part of a skilled and agile engineering team focused on building a fast, seamless, and scalable mobile experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop & enhance the iOS app for Kleinanzeigen, ensuring high-quality user experiences.

  • Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code using Swift and modern iOS technologies.

  • Architect and implement new features that improve app performance and usability.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (backend, product, UX) to define and deliver innovative solutions.

  • Ensure code quality through unit tests, integration tests, and continuous deployment practices.

  • Stay up to date with the latest iOS trends, frameworks, and best practices.

Who You Are

  • 3+ years of experience in iOS app development.

  • Strong expertise in Swift, with solid knowledge of UIKit, GCD, ARC, and modern iOS architectures (MVVM, VIPER, etc.).

  • Experience with third-party dependency management tools like CocoaPods, Carthage, or Swift Package Manager.

  • Passion for writing clean, testable code (experience with Quick/Nimble, XCTest, or similar frameworks is a plus).

  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Fastlane.

  • A strong product mindset—you care about user experience and performance.

  • Experience working in Agile teams, collaborating closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers.

  • Fluent in English (our working language).

Bonus Points

  • You have published or contributed to open-source projects.

  • You have experience with SwiftUI.

  • You enjoy mentoring and knowledge-sharing.
