The Role
The Finance Data Analyst is responsible for providing data-driven insights and analysis to support the finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical profile with basic understanding of billing and accounting principles, data analysis techniques, and business intelligence tools. His/her mission will be to translate complex financial data into actionable insights for the Finance team to make decisions impacting not only the Finance team, but the whole company.
Responsibilities:
Partner with the finance team to identify and gather data needs
Consolidating financial data from various sources to establish a single source of truth of ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue) and each of the movements that it comprises
Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks and opportunities
Provide trustable insights for ARR forecasting
Automate financial processes using data analysis tools
Data querying, developing and implementing data visualization dashboards
Work with cross-functional teams to improve financial reporting and analysis
Job requirements
About you:
Bachelor's degree in finance, statistics or engineering
4+ years of experience in financial analytics
Advanced Excel skills, in SQL, DBT and Python for data analysis
Understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
Experience with data analysis tools and techniques (SQL)
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong attention to detail and accuracy
