About the role

As a Software Engineer Team Lead at Amenitiz, you'll be at the forefront of our hospitality technology revolution. In this pivotal role, you'll lead one of our three dynamic squads – Property Managers Squad, Core Squad, or Distribution Squad – each with a unique focus but sharing the common goal of setting new benchmarks in the hospitality industry. Your leadership will be instrumental in blending technology with creativity to redefine the future of hospitality.

Outcomes

Within the first 3-6 months, success in this role will be measured by:

• Building and fully ramping up your team.
• Establishing processes to deliver high-quality solutions rapidly.
• Integrating the team seamlessly into the wider department through rituals like demo hours and all-hands meetings.
• Elevating the team to be a new benchmark for excellence and quality within Amenitiz.
  

  This position involves
  

  • Team Management: Engaging in 1:1s, performance reviews, and development discussions with your team members.
  • Rituals & Project Management: Leading various engineering rituals and managing projects efficiently.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working closely with different teams and departments within the organization.
  • Technical Decision-Making: Making key decisions on architectural and technical aspects of projects.
  • Quality and Impact: Ensuring your team understands and delivers its impact with a focus on quality and excellence.
