Descripción de la oferta

At Tinybird, we help developers and data teams take flight by unlocking the power of real-time data to quickly build data pipelines and innovative data products. With Tinybird, you can effortlessly ingest multiple data sources at scale, query and shape it using the 100% pure SQL you already know and love, and publish results as low-latency, high-concurrency APIs for your applications to chirp about. Developers can create fast APIs, faster—what used to take hours and days now only takes minutes! Tinybird is the essential tool that data engineers and software developers have been waiting for enabling you to drive innovation with ease.

With Tinybird, you can capture data from many sources, define SQL-based real-time transformations, and publish your pipelines as low-latency, high-concurrency APIs for your applications to consume. Developers choose Tinybird to ship user-facing analytics features from day 1, not day 90. We're looking for a great full-stack dev and an even greater content creator to be the public face of Tinybird. As our top Developer Advocate, you'll educate and inspire the next wave of great SaaS builders to create incredible things with data.

What you will be doing:

  • Create exceptional written and video content to showcase demos and examples you and others have built. Expect to be publishing multiple blog posts and videos every week.
  • Build demos, examples, and templates using Tinybird as a part of a modern web app stack.
  • Work alongside our Product Engineering and Growth Engineering team to produce content that explains and showcases new Tinybird features, integrations, and partnerships.
  • Work with developer advocates from other devtools companies like Vercel, Resend, Clerk, Supabase, and more to produce joint content and integrated examples.
  • Plan and run virtual and in-person trainings and workshops to help developers learn best practices for building things with data.
  • Connect with and support Tinybird users in the Tinybird Slack Community, via email, and through meetups, conferences, and virtual events.
  • Engage our target communities by being active on social media and in community Discords, Slacks, and other forums where devs congregate. You should want to build and maintain a personal "brand" - people should know who you are on the social channels you're invested in.
  • What we are looking for:

  • You are an exceptional content creator. You're not only capable of producing studio-quality videos (given the time and tools) and engaging written content, but you also love doing it. You should be able to produce videos like this and blog posts like this.
  • You are a community engager and want to build your public brand. You have a social media following and regularly post, engage, and reply on Twitter, LinkedIn, Reddit, Bluesky, etc.
  • You are proficient with HTML, CSS, JavaScript/Typescript, Next.js, React, Vercel deployments, serverless functions, git, and other skills expected of a modern web developer.
  • You have some pretty good backend skills. You can hack Python scripts and create basic server-side applications using Node.js or similar.
  • You have some experience working with data and databases. You know the difference between OLTP and OLAP and you're pretty good with SQL. Experience with ClickHouse is a big plus.
  • You work with pace and independence. You take the initiative to build things of value with minimal direction and report back when you've made progress. You can see the big picture and you know how to identify the next thing to work on.
  • You're a collaborator. You work well in a team, you like contributing to open source projects, and you like building bridges with new people and teams.

  • Compensation:
