The Red Hat EMEA Go to Market Operations team is looking for a Data & Reporting Analyst to support the EMEA Sales team, ideally in Ireland or other EMEA Countries. In this role, you will partner with the EMEA Go to Market Operations Business Partners team to deliver high-quality and insightful reporting. You will extract, compile, analyze, interpret, and present sales data to enable Business Partners and Sales Leaders to make data-based decisions. You'll need to be able to understand complex problems and provide explanations and solutions that are sound and clearly communicated. You will need to have a strong level of capability, understanding, and interpretation of Red Hat tools and resources and be able to train and translate to sales. As a Business Analyst, you will also need to have excellent communication skills and the ability to support and collaborate with multiple teams.
What you will do
Own the Quarterly/Monthly Business Reviews: it includes extracting data with SQL and building slides, to enable a fruitful conversation during the business reviews. The process includes suggestions views and getting in feedback to improve continuously. Finally, this involves proactive communication with senior sales leadership and business partners' operations
On the Quarter and Year-end preliminary bookings files, by extracting the data, building a file, and proactively communicating to senior sales leadership and business partners' operations
On the Quarter and Year-end data check by building automated quality checks and be able to discover any potential issues, and sources of issues, explain the issue with a clear example, and propose fixes in a scalable way
Own any ad-hoc data queries that are not available in standard reporting
Be able to define if standard reporting is needed, and what is the best platform to deliver and maintain it in a scalable manner (google sheet, Google Slides, Salesforce Lightning)
Be proactive in helping the rest of the team with the weekly forecasting process (be the backup, able to check possible data questions)
Support the EMEA Go to Market Operations team in building user-friendly files with large data, to facilitate key exercises like Client hierarchy structure, Territory management, and Quota management
What you will bring
7+ years of Analytics preferably with Forecasting and Business review analytics
Strong communication skills with several years of practice in presenting and delivering information to Sales Leaders
Proficiency with Salesforce Lightning, Tableau, Google Suite, and SQL
A proactive self-starter who can work with little guidance and lead independently.
Proficiency in partnering closely with cross-functional teams and regional business stakeholders as well as the capability to work independently
High level of adaptability with excellent attention to detail skills and demonstrate a “root cause - impact - solution” analysis
Outstanding critical thinking and problem-solving abilities with intellectual curiosity
English is a must, any other language is a plus
