What your day will look like:
- Lead the design and development of web applications using Ruby and Ruby on Rails.
- Develop and maintain API endpoints that are scalable, robust, and secure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine technical solutions, particularly for web scraping projects.
- Implement web services on Google Cloud, including cloud functions, cloud engine, and BigQuery.
- Work closely with other developers and technical leads to ensure the delivery of high-quality code.
- Participate in technical meetings and provide insights to optimize project outcomes.
- Ensure timely delivery of projects within the planned sprints.
The experience you’ll need:
- Extensive experience in Ruby and Ruby on Rails – this is essential.
- Strong skills in designing and developing API endpoints.
- Experience with Google Cloud services (cloud functions, cloud engine, BigQuery) is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Fluent in English; additional languages like Italian are a plus.
