THE ROLE

As a Backend Developer, you will build product features strategically linked to our company growth and work on the structure and scalability of our technology.
Specifically, we expect you to:
- Develop backend services and APIs that support a growing e-commerce platform
- Ensure high performance, security, and scalability of our systems
- Collaborate with the team to enhance the overall user experience
- Maintain code quality through automated tests, peer reviews, and proper documentation
- Participate in Agile methodologies to deliver software improvements continuously
Mandatory requirements:
- Proficient in Javascript/Typescript
- Experience in building RESTful APIs and microservices
- Strong knowledge of databases (SQL and NoSQL)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Understanding of software architecture principles, security, and performance optimization Team player with excellent communication skills
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
Brownie points:
- Experience with DevOps tools and processes (e.g., CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of Python and Go programming languages
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Experience working in fast-paced startup environments
- Passionate about code quality and best practices
