Job description
We are a looking for an ad tech manager:
- Oversee the management, definition, execution, and evolution of the Ad Tech stack and platform architecture, including the implementation of new features.
- Lead the integration of Ad Tech platforms (DSP, DMP, SSP, ad servers, site analytics) across all brands and properties.
- Serve as the primary contact for resolving project issues and troubleshooting Ad Tech platform integrations.
- Follow the industry standards, including IAB recommendations and proposed specifications.
- Monitor the technical performance of ads, analyze results, and recommend optimizations to improve ad-related products.
- Document the integrations, share knowledge
- Ensure clear and timely communication with internal and external stakeholders regarding technical requirements, development progress, and project timelines.
- Adopt a data-driven approach by monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and leveraging insights to enhance the efficiency and quality of integrations.
- Partner closely with product and marketing teams to develop product requirements and manage the implementation of projects related to the company’s Ad Tech stack.
- Collaborate with the Ad Operations team to ensure seamless execution and support.
- Take ownership of data points and pipeline to measure the success of Ad Tech integrations and work with the BI team to focus on meaningful metrics.
- Troubleshoot and resolve ad-related technical issues.
- Lead discussions and maintain strong working relationships with Ad Tech vendors.
Requirements
Experience with video advertising in VOD (Video on Demand) and FAST (Free Ad-Supported Streaming) channels on CTV platforms.
In-depth understanding of how ads are served, ingested, and configured on ad servers, including both supply and demand sides.
Familiar with SpringServe.
Strong knowledge of ad business models, inventory sharing, and monetization strategies.
Familiarity with targeted advertising and Consent Management Platforms (CMP).
Comprehensive understanding of the streaming industry, including playback functionality and connected TVs.
Expertise in Dynamic Ad Insertion (DAI), Server-Side Ad Insertion projects, and implementing SCTE-35 markers.
Solid knowledge of ad servers and digital marketing technologies.
Familiarity with programmatic sales solutions, including DSPs, SSPs, and Ad Networks.
Experience working with advertising ecosystem providers such as Amazon APS, GAM (Google Ad Manager), FreeWheel, Lotame, Moat, AWS MediaTailor, and others.
