The Role:
We are looking for a Software Engineering Team Lead to work in a highly innovative and fast-paced environment and lead a team dedicated to the “Accounting and Publishing Partnerships” vertical.
We believe that the right person should have a natural curiosity to learn new things, be happy to share knowledge and act as a trainer when needed.
Strong development background with an inclination toward good development practices, and knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming, SOLID principles, and design patterns will be most important.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and lead a remote team of .NET Engineers
Be hands-on in Microsoft-based technologies
Take part in defining the system design and architecture while working closely with the Solutions Architect and your team
Use software development and people management skills to ensure consistent high quality of all deliverables from your team
Act as an advocate of clean, maintainable code and the usage of the proper software development principles/patterns, non-functional requirements, unit testing and code reviews
Find and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team.
Explore innovative technologies, tools/patterns
Key Requirements:
Strong experience with the .NET stack
Good knowledge of the latest front-end web technologies such as JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, Angular or VueJs
Very good knowledge of “clean-code” best practices, SOLID principles and software design patterns
Experience with any relational (MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and non-relational (MongoDB, CosmosDB, Elastic Search) database engines
Familiarity with Azure or equivalent (AWS, GCP)
Basic knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
Ability to lead a team of software developers using agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
Nice to have:
Experience with Kafka/Kafka Connect/ksqlDB
Experience with building distributed systems and working with message queuing systems (RabbitMQ or similar)
Experience in Event-Driven Architecture
