Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Production Team. In this role, you will collaborate with stakeholders, senior leadership, and cross-functional teams to align Aristocrat’s strategic objectives with Product Madness’s project portfolio. End to end project management will include facilitating and executing project intake and discovery efforts, driving process improvements, facilitating positive change, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Owning the projects’ outcome, making sure there is tight governance and a driving force is essential for this role. Exceptional strategic thinking, technical expertise, project management skills, customer focus will be instrumental in achieving successful project outcomes.

Reporting to the Program Manager, the Senior Project Manager in our central team, working closely with Game Producers in Business Units and with the wider Aristocrat PMO teams will oversee multiple projects within Product Madness.

What You'll Do

Key Responsibilities:

Successful operational excellence for strategic project delivery demands critical daily, weekly, and monthly requirements and duties in the role:

·   Collaborate with stakeholders, senior leadership, and cross-functional teams to facilitate and execute project intake and discovery efforts, aligning Product Madness’s business strategic objectives with the wider Aristocrat (ALABs’) project portfolio

·   Having a transparent up-to-date status of the projects and relevant reporting

·   Driving process improvements, facilitating positive change, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

·   Plan and contribute to the development and implementation of PMO capabilities, toolsets and processes aligned with the PMO framework and methodology, driving operational excellence and ensuring efficient project execution.

·   Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess health and effectiveness of the project management practices.

·   Conduct thorough project discovery activities to gather requirements, analyze risks and dependencies, and define project scope and success criteria.

·   Lead regular project reviews to evaluate project performance, risks, and issues.

·   Monitor and evaluate change management efforts, measure effectiveness, and adjust as needed.

·   Stay updated on industry trends, emerging tools, and methodologies related to project management, business case development, and change management.

·   Ensure compliance with governance frameworks, project management methodologies, and regulatory requirements.

·   Adapt and contribute to the overall success of the project management practice within the organization.

·   Develop and maintain a comprehensive release management strategy aligned with project objectives and organizational goals.

·   Oversee release planning activities across multiple projects

·   Collaborate with Producers, development teams, QA, and operations to establish and optimize release processes and schedules.

·   Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders regarding release status, timelines, and potential impacts.

·   Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering their growth in technical skills, project management practices.

What We're Looking For

Required Skills and Experience

·   Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.

·   6+ years of relevant experience as a Project Manager, leading strategic project intake, discovery, end to end delivery and change management for multiple initiatives, and overseeing the operational excellence of PMO functions.

· Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical skills, aligning operational project objectives with the business' goals, delivering tangible results and continuous process improvement.

·   Subject matter expert in project management methodologies, frameworks, and best practices, with proficiency in both Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)/Waterfall and traditional project management practices.

·   Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

·   Strong experience managing complex operational projects in a matrix organisation.

· Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

·   Experience in reporting status, risks, issues, and resource utilisation to stakeholders and leadership.

· Strong leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams and foster a culture of excellence.

·   Familiarity with resource management, capacity planning tools and techniques.

Preferred Skills and Experience

 ·   Knowledge of software development workflows, automated deployment processes, and collaborative coding platforms.

·   AgilePM, PgMP, PMP or CSM certification is highly preferred.

·   Experience in the gaming or entertainment technology sector.

·   Passion for mobile games & the social casino category.

·   Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the gaming industry.
