The Salesforce Developer will be a part of the Revenue Operations team, reporting to the Head of Revenue Operations. In this role you will work on custom APEX and Visualforce solutions within Rollbar’s Salesforce.com instance and the broader ecosystem associated with it. With the support of internal customers and the broader Go-To-Market team, you will translate technical requirements into a project-driven approach for execution. This is a critical role in keeping our Go-To-Market operating smoothly and efficiently.
You will:
Translate business requirements into technical specifications
Participate in team code reviews, user acceptance testing and maintain excellent documentation of all work
Develop APEX and Visualforce solutions utilizing Salesforce.com best practices
Advocate for performance and quality improvements across the sales tech stack
Collaborate and communicate with technical resources across the company
Triage and remediate bugs as they are presented
Evaluate and deploy Salesforce applications
You have:
5+ years experience as a Salesforce.com Developer, Business Systems Engineer, or Backend Engineer role
Received or pursuing the Salesforce.com Platform Developer 1 certification
Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle, Source Control, and Salesforce.com coding best practices
Experience with CPQ in a SaaS-based product company
Understanding of the Salesforce.com data model and how to effectively extract, transform and load data
Experience owning and driving a project from concept to production, including proposal, discussion, and execution
Self-motivation and self-managment, with strong organizational skills
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and across teams
Ability to thrive working with remote teams
Bonus points:
Knowledge of at least one other non-Apex language such as Ruby on Rails, Java, Javascript, PHP or Python
Experience with deploying and integrating Customer Success tools
Experience integrating in-house databases into Salesforce
Experience working in an Agile team work environment
