The Role

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Developer to join our Interactive team focusing on our Inflight Entertainment and Connected Platforms.


Reporting to the QA Lead, you will be enhancing our QA process by ensuring the quality of our product delivered through manual and automated testing. You’ll help drive improvements by proposing innovative testing strategies and collaborating with stakeholders to enhance overall quality assurance and contribute to the development of scalability of efficient QA workflows


What your day-to-day will look like

  • You will set and ensure established QA and automated testing practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-departmental communication and teamwork to integrate QA activities effectively. Collaborate with the QA Lead to support testing strategies, review test plans, provide feedback on test cases, and improve testing processes
  • Constantly make proposals about software quality assurance and QA best practices
  • Collaborate with the development team to solve bugs and issues
  • Execute test cases (manual or automated), analyze results, and give visibility to all stakeholders
  • Evaluate deliverables according to specifications, seek a deep understanding of both the solution domain and technologies
  • Provide Root Cause Analysis and ensure findings are effectively communicated
  • Document processes, best practices, and platform-specific knowledge to effective and rigorous
  • As a QA developer, you’re expected to participate in flight tests


Requirements

Technically


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a QA position
  • Programming skills in automated test technologies: Selenium Python, Gherkin/Cucumber, Playwright, or similar.
  • Mobile automation
  • Integration with BrowserSt ack
  • Connection to Endpoints API & knowledge of web and API testing with Postman
  • Working knowledge of test management software (e.g. JIRA, Zephyr)
  • Familiarity working within Agile Scrum is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, fluent in English, and Spanish (oral / written)
  • Travels: This position includes regular flight testing
