Job Description

Eventbrite is the largest global marketplace for live experiences, powering millions of live events that connect event creators with audiences in nearly 180 countries. To extend and deepen our global reach, we must deliver a seamless and localized experience for both event creators and attendees. As a Principal Product Manager for Global Expansion, you will play a pivotal role in crafting the product vision and roadmap supporting rapid expansion into new metros and geos, driving significant growth for Eventbrite and the marketplace.

THE TEAM

The new Global Expansion team aims to delight our users worldwide, rapidly scaling a high quality localized experience through globally accessible content and meaningful product-market fit. Collaborating with cross-functional leaders across product, engineering, marketing, finance, and business operations, you'll work in an entrepreneurial environment where innovation and data-driven decision-making thrive. Together, we aim to redefine the event landscape and empower creators and consumers worldwide.

THE ROLE

As the product leader for this initiative, your success in this endeavor will be directly responsible for a high growth portion of Eventbrite’s business and a key part of our strategy. Your role involves defining the vision and roadmap for expanding into new markets, leading cross-functional teams, and leveraging market analysis, customer insights, and quantitative data to drive decision-making and prioritize product opportunities.

You will determine key outcomes and measures to ensure the team’s work is driving transformation aligned with Eventbrite’s broader strategic objectives. You will serve as a key advocate for our users, developing scalable and localized solutions, to deliver a high-quality and seamless experience that meets the needs of event creators and attendees globally. You will lead through influence, fostering a culture of transparency, accountability, and collaboration within the team and across the organization.

THE SKILL SET

  • 6+ years experience as a product manager in software technology development, including expertise in payments, localization and International Growth.
  • Translate market analysis into coherent product strategies, prioritization frameworks, and requirements that engineering and cross-functional teams can execute against.
  • Ability to work across team and functional boundaries, influence without authority, and create clarity and simplicity from ambiguity and complexity
  • Drive alignment and buy-in on the expansion roadmap from key internal stakeholders, including new feature development, internationalization of the Eventbrite platform, and international compliance.
  • Exceptional communication skills that enable clear articulation of vision, strategy, and execution, maintaining regular, healthy communication with the leadership team to ensure efficient and aligned decision-making and execution
  • Experience in entrepreneurial technology environments; familiarity with experimentation frameworks, techniques and measurement tools
  • Ability to rapidly understand user needs, respond to tight deadlines, and deliver solutions that drive key business metrics
  • Ability to creatively problem solve, balance risk, effort, and impact in your decision-making
  • Foster a culture of transparency, accountability and collaboration
