Job Description

The beauty industry is going through a great transformation, as consumers are seeking personalized approaches from their favorite brands and retailers, which is the exact market that Revieve serves.

We help some of the world's biggest brands and retailers offer personalized brand experiences in the digital space leveraging artificial intelligence, augmented reality and proprietary computer-vision technology. Some of our customers include A.S. Watson, Shiseido, Boots No7 and Living Proof, a Unilever Brand, to name but a few. Globally we work with brands and retailers on five continents and in over 40+ countries.

This is Our Global Team

We are a diverse mix of nearly 100 people representing 27 nationalities from five continents and working in eight time zones. We have global offices in Finland and the US, a Centre of Excellence in Spain, and a team based out of Asia. What connects us across our global network is the curiosity to seek continuous improvement and the passion to change the beauty industry.

At Revieve, we are given a lot of room to explore in our roles, and largely get to choose where and when we work. That freedom is balanced by taking responsibility and owning our work. Whenever we are faced with a problem we can’t solve, we can count on our colleagues’ help. Joining the team, you will be a part of a fast-paced environment where we get stuff done, but encourage people to find their balance and have a life outside work as well. One example is our generous (five weeks) holiday scheme, from the moment you start on the job.

This is how you can make an impact

Collaborating very closely in a cross-functional squad with our Product, Fullstack, DevOps and Computer Vision teams, you will be designing the User Experience / User Interface of different product features the end-users face, when using our product. Your work will directly affect how the user experiences the product, and how well it performs against our clients’ commercial targets. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to influence the User Experience / User Interface area you want to develop in, and get the space for creating.

In this role, you will

  • Be responsible for developing User Interface / User-Experience of the product features
  • Research the user-experience and test it with end-users
  • Collaborate closely with our Product, Fullstack, DevOps and Computer Vision teams in cross-functional initiatives

To succeed in this position, you need to have

  • Strong understanding of User Interface / User-Experience
  • Expertise in researching and user testing
  • Minimum two years of actual experience designing User Interface and User-Experience
  • Some understanding of coding (JavaScript, html / CSS etc.): you are able to read code, understand its structure and its impact on the design and vice versa
  • Worked on software products before
  • Ideally you have experience with Figma
  • Ability to flexibly change the scope of work when needed
  • You are comfortable in a growth environment where things may change rapidly
  • You are also forward-thinking and proactively seek information and feedback wherever required
  • As a person, you are empathetic and open to feedback
  • You have great collaboration and communication skills

Meet your future colleagues

We are a tight-knit team of four, led by the multi-talented Ruben, a horror-movie enthusiast, and complemented by Eduardo, our graphic design expert and martial arts instructor, as well as Xavi, the webdesign pro and our network weaver. Our team is completed by Dhanish, another multi-talented developer, who supports us in User Interface / User-Experience.

What you can expect in the recruitment:

  • Step 1: A call with People Ops to get to know each other a bit better
  • Step 2: Call with Ruben
  • Step 3: Meet our Design Team
  • Step 3: Let’s agree on the details!

What’s in it for you:

  • Work with some of the biggest retailers and brands in beauty
  • Flexible working hours and location
  • Generous holiday policy of 5 weeks
  • Personal budget for skill development and well-being
  • A company-performance based Employee Option plan
  • Personal budget for equipment
