We are looking for adventurers to join and lead one of our inspiring data teams! You will be part of a team that is responsible for building a fast and reliable streaming-based microservices-based solution. The team consists of multiple Data Engineers and Infrastructure Engineers that own the whole process of building and releasing their solutions. As a Team Lead with a focus on team processes, coding and people development. You will be working closely with a Director of Engineering on developing, managing and empowering 3-5 engineers for creating a productive, fast-paced and high-quality delivery engineering culture.

Our Expectations of You as Engineer:

    • You have a solid understanding of eXtreme Programming principles and practices
    • You have a good technical background in the field of Big Data Engineering
    • You understand CI/CD and Automated Tests best practices
    • You have experience in working with Legacy Code

Our Expectations of You as Team Lead:

    • You have at least 1+ years experience leading engineering teams. Leading remote teams will be nice to have
    • You have a solid understanding of Agile Software Development and frameworks like Scrum , Kanban and XP
    • You have fluent English communication skills
    • You develop a sustainable, collaborative and healthy work environment
    • You embrace a professional growth mindset for you and your peers

What Would Make You a Perfect Fit:

    • You have a good understanding of Python
    • You know about Lean Product development
    • You know about DevOps Culture and practices
    • You have experience with Stream Processing
    • You have experience with Monolith, Microservices and Event-Driven architectures
    • You have experience with Cloud computing (AWS)
    • You have a technical knowledge of Kubernetes and Kafka
    • You have project management skills and experience
