The Role

We are looking for a Systems Administration to join our Infrastructure team. You will manage the integration of our hardware systems and ensure the airworthiness of entertainment and connectivity systems on aircraft. We collect extensive data during flights, which is centralized to our server whenever the aircraft lands.

Our cloud infrastructure operates on a hybrid model, using Kubernetes clusters on our bare-metal servers, along with AWS services. Our dynamic product can be updated on-demand via a 4G connection

What your day to day will look like


  • Own the integration process of our hardware system solutions for connectivity and entertainment
  • Conduct extensive testing and Identify potential risks associated with connectivity and entertainment systems to ensure their safe and reliable function under various conditions
  • We leverage a range of open-source technologies that we are passionate about, including Linux, KVM, Python, Django, Kubernetes, Graylog, Ceph, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, InfluxDB, Prometheus, Grafana, Ansible, RabbitMQ, JavaScript, and React.
  • You should also be enthusiastic about exploring new languages and frameworks.


Requirements

Technically


  • +5 strong experience with Linux
  • +5 strong experience with our tools: KVM, Kubernetes, Proxmox, Docker, Git, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Graylog, Ceph
  • +3 strong experience with networking knowledge: switching, firewalling, routing, VPN, security
  • +5 experience with our stack: Python, Bash, Ansible
  • Passion for open-source technology
  • Continuous learner with a strong sense of curiosity
  • It’s a plus if you have skills in wireless communications
  • It’s a plus to have experience working with physical servers in data centers
