The Opportunity

Adobe Design is seeking a Sr. Experience Designer to join our Experience Cloud Design Team. We’re looking for an innovator who can look at the big picture while never losing track of the important details. This person will work closely with cross-functional team members to concept, plan, and deliver end-to-end user experiences and next generation workflows that will craft the future of the business.

Our UX, Product and Engineering experts do their best work while supporting each other in a mutually encouraging and unified team. You'll be joining a strong team of product designers, part of a larger design organization that focuses on centralized design efforts and overall design strategy.

What you'll Do

  • Translate complex design problems, customer needs, and research findings into practical and impactful design solutions.

  • Engage with customers to validate design solutions and conduct quick rounds of usability testing, incorporating results into your design process.

  • Set design direction and prioritize design efforts against the product roadmap and general UX design vision.

  • Quickly visualize and prototype ideas to communicate concepts and user journeyers.

  • Build sketches, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, interactive prototypes, and written specs.

  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering management to deliver effective design solutions that meet current requirements and can scale for future releases.

  • Review product builds and implementation and give feedback throughout the product cycle.

  • Incorporate feedback from organizational leaders, design leaders and customers in an iterative design process.

  • Facilitate brainstorming sessions and build compelling presentations.

  • Work with the design team to leverage and contribute to the pattern library for the Adobe Experience Cloud and Spectrum design system and ensure consistency.

  • Evangelize for good design.

What you need to succeed

  • Proven experience working in interactive design, visual or UX roles, building and delivering consumer and/or enterprise products.

  • A proven track record of great designs and strategy that meet user needs, product requirements, and business objectives.

  • Excellent visual design skills and a desire to achieve pixel precision in the finished product.

  • Familiarity with current design industry standard processes.

  • Ability to accurately set, manage, and meet design objectives.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Experience with prototyping and user research.

  • Experience with enterprise product design, marketing technology are a plus.
