About our Data Acquisition Team
In the Kiwi.com Data Acquisition team, we are responsible for sourcing the most accurate, complete and competitive content for our customers, enhancing their searching success. We orchestrate multiple services and data sources to ensure content quality and bookability. In short, our mission is to ensure our users find the flights they are looking for, at the best possible price.
What you will do
- You will be responsible for our “Search Redirect” scope, which is directly influencing a core part of our product.
- You will work closely with the core data acquisition team in order to provide the best possible flights to our users.
- You will lead the definition of product vision, mission and strategy and define product performance metrics.
- You will identify and assess product improvement opportunities and prioritise delivery work.
- By creating, communicating and advocating for a product roadmap, you will be resolving dependencies and gaining buy-in from other teams.
- You will be responsible for orchestrating/structuring discovery sessions, involving all stakeholders necessary.
- Through close cooperation with our Product Operations team, you will be able to understand and resolve potential issues.
What you will need
- Strong previous experience as a Product Manager in the e-commerce or travel industry and possess a strong understanding of content sourcing, search results logic, and search experience in general.
- A proven ability to champion the principles of exceptional Product Management, serving as a role model for others.
- Expertise in identifying product gaps and opportunities, coupled with effective collaboration with stakeholders to achieve goals.
- Proven experience as a key contact for internal and external stakeholders in relation to your product area and run a critical initiative with multiple teams, with a clear goal, in a structured way.
- You can collaborate closely with software engineering teams, monitoring feature development and reviewing demos against acceptance criteria.
- You have experience in translating customer needs into tangible product requirements (use cases, metric definitions etc).
- You present your ideas and write good quality product documentation, such as basic product vision or team strategy documents and detailed product requirements or RFC for a complex product.
