We are looking for a Senior Product Manager with a strong technical background to lead innovative projects within this critical domain.

As a Senior Product Manager in the Trust & Safety team, you will be responsible for developing and executing product strategies that enhance user safety, identity and transactional security. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, product vision, and leadership skills to drive initiatives that address challenges in a dynamic digital environment, by working in a cross functional team partnering daily with our software engineers, designers, data scientists and stakeholders like marketing, operations, logistics and customer service.

What You Will Do 👇

  • Define and execute the product roadmap for Trust & Safety, prioritizing initiatives based on impact, user needs, and company objectives.
  • Collaborate with engineering, data science, product design and operations teams to develop and launch products that protect users and ensure platform integrity.
  • Ensure product quality standards across all devices/platforms, and use cases that are applicable to the products.
  • Analyze trends in online safety, abuse, and security threats to inform product development.
  • Engage with users, stakeholders, and external partners to gather insights and feedback that guide product improvement.
  • Lead cross-functional teams through the product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Monitor product performance and user feedback to continuously refine and enhance Trust & Safety services..
  • Stay ahead of technological advancements and regulatory changes that impact Trust & Safety, incorporating and advocating to other teams best practices.

What We’re Looking For 🔎

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 7+ years of product management experience, with a proven track record in Trust & Safety, security, or related fields.
  • Strong technical acumen, with the ability to engage effectively with engineers and understand complex technical systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving, strategic thinking, and analytical capabilities.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams to successfully deliver product initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of machine learning concepts and methodologies and be able to effectively communicate and align product goals with data-driven insights.
  • Experience in leading the development of ML-based product features highly desired.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with data-driven decision making and familiarity with data analysis tools and methodologies.
  • Passion for creating safe online environments and a deep understanding of the challenges in Trust & Safety.
  • Proficiency in English a must & spanish a plus

What does the hiring process for this position look like? đź‘€**Please, note that all interviews take place remotely over hangouts.**

Intro Call - run by talent acquisition, focus on providing more information about the role and the company as well as going over your experience, motivation, and expectations. This usually takes 45-60 minutes.

Case Study Submission - you will be assigned a task to submit within 5 up to 7 days where you will be able to showcase your expertise for the role.

Expertise Interview - run by the hiring team, focus on the required core skills and the ability to deliver in a given context. This usually takes 60-90 minutes.

Stakeholder Interview - run by relevant stakeholders reflecting the reality of the context of the role, focus on the ability to collaborate & deliver in a cross-functional set-up. This usually takes 60 minutes.

Culture Interview - run by culture interviewers, focus on adherence to Wallapop's purpose and business proposition. This usually takes 60 minutes.

Final interview- run by the Chief of Product.

Offer - should you be the right candidate, your offer will be discussed over a call with talent acquisition and will then be confirmed in writing.
