At Ocado Technologty we offer the most widely used payment methods in the market and provide an easy-to-use and frictionless payment experience. This team is cross-functional and has backend, frontend for web, and frontend for mobile applications.
Roles & Responsibilities
This role involves working on different integrations to support new payment methods and payment service providers on the Ocado smart platform. You will need to support the current integrations and improve them focusing on having a frictionless payment experience.

- Help set technical direction, actively driving continuous improvement and timely delivery in the team.
- Ability in teaching and coaching, such that you increase the effectiveness / impact of others across your department.
- Consistently able to translate needs into appropriate technical requirements.
- Consistently seeks the root of the problem we are trying to solve, makes sure that solutions meet these needs.
- Empathy with customers, clients, stakeholders & managers. Able to adapt your communication in order to understand their needs.
Essential
- Computer Science (or related subject) engineering degree.
- Good spoken and written English.
- Experience in Java.
- OOP and software design skills.
- Passionate about developing high-quality software.
- Happy to take an active role in supporting the business needs.
- Passion and understanding of TDD and Clean Code.
- Experience working in a continuous delivery environment.
