Senior Full Stack Engineer (FE focus) in Madrid

Responsibilities

• Work together in a cross-functional team using agile methodologies as part of a DevOps-centric model
• Design, implement, deploy, release, and monitor applications
• Take part in pull request reviews
• Understand business needs by working together with colleagues from across different divisions of the client
• Take part in planning and feature refinement sessions together with the team
• Design software solutions that are aligned with the client’s overall architectural vision (together with Solution Architects)
• Take part actively in our Software Engineering communities, sharing your knowledge and helping others
• Deliver high-quality code aligned with the client’s guidelines and standards

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in full stack development
• Relevant higher education and professional background within the IT industry
• Extensive experience in Full Stack technologies, including React, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Spring Boot, service-oriented architecture, RESTful services, SQL (Oracle), Kubernetes (PKS), and virtual machines, streaming using Kafka, Avro, and Open API, UM
• Proven delivery experience in software engineering, using industry standards such as test-oriented development through TDD and BDD
• Understanding of DevOps concepts, such as CI/CD, and the importance and value of automated testing
• Can-do attitude, pragmatic approach, and an open-mindedness
• You take pride in your work and strive to lead by example
• Entrepreneurial mindset
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate in native or fluent English
