What You'll Do:
Within Finance Transformation, you will join the Data Governance team
composed of highly motivated data specialists and focused on 2 main missions:
· Contribute to the definition and evolution of the Data Governance
Framework to maximize its impact, reach and scalability.
· Contribute to its deployment on data domains
Your main responsibilities will be:
Working with both Business teams (Commercial, Marketing, Finance,
Reporting...) and IT (CRM, Billing, ERP...), both in the context of company
projects and operations, your main responsibilities will be:
· Contribute to the definition and evolutions of our Data Governance
Framework:
· Data policies to secure founding principles
· Roles and responsibilities to drive a proper ownership and
accountability of data
· Data catalog to facilitate other teams’ understanding of data, its
lineage and ownership
· Governance committees to ensure a proper knowledge sharing and
prioritization of key data priorities for the company
· Data quality framework to have a centralized control tower of our
data quality with clearly defined quality rules, monitoring, alerting,
cleaning procedures, score cards
· Support the deployment of our framework to data domains and data sets:
· Be a key point of contact and change agent for Data Governance
· Support the appointment of data owners and stewards
· Support them in maintaining the data catalog (dictionary, lineage,
ownership, confidentiality...)
· Support the business maturation and lead the data modeling
maturation on the definition of core data sets to be built by the IT
team and consumed by multiple applications and processes (CRM,
reporting...).
· Support data stewards on data assurance and data quality:
· Understanding of current processes and pain points
· Definition of data quality business rules per object, in a
centralized referential
· Ad hoc analysis on data quality
· Automated data quality monitoring to feed a central data
quality control tower
· Cleaning procedure definition, planning, training and
coordination
· Regular reviews of data quality scorecards and alerts to drive
execution
Who You Are:
· MS degree in Engineering, Business, Finance or a related degree
· 5+ years of proven working experience as Data Governance analyst or a
similar position
· You demonstrate a high interest and proficiency in Data and BI such as:
· Data governance principles and best practices
· Data modeling
· Data quality / assurance
· BI / reporting tools (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau)
· SQL
· Working experience on Commercial or Financial data domains would be a
plus (CRM / Client data, Invoicing, Accounting...)
· Strong analytical skills and problem-solving mind-set
· Ease to work in an agile, fast-paced, technological, international and
intercultural environment
· Good communication, stakeholder management and change management
skillset
· Fluent in English
