Right now, we are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our team!
You will get the chance to:
- Design, develop, test, debug, document, and implement components of the data platform within an agile team, specifically focusing on:
- Ingestion and transformation pipelines
- Data quality measures
- Oracle-based data infrastructure platform
- Reports and dashboards utilized by internal stakeholders and external customers
- Ensure compliance with non-functional requirements such as performance, data protection, IT security, and ergonomics/usability.
- Take end-to-end responsibility for the implemented data assets, maintaining them in production with a DevOps mindset (you build it, you run it).
- Collaborate closely with the product owner and data architect to meet current and future user needs.
- Review and evolve the current data architecture of our portfolio companies, mentor their team, and drive the migration to a modern data stack.
- Stay updated with trends and advancements in the big data and analytics.

- Solid experience as a Data Engineer (5+ years).
- In-depth knowledge of database technologies and fundamentals, including proficiency in SQL and data modeling.
- Strong working proficiency with Oracle databases and stored procedures.
- NoSQL Database knowledge like Azure CosmosDB or Mongo DB.
- Extensive experience using state-of-the-art data and analytics tools (Oracle-specific tools preferred).
- Knowledge of PowerBI and Tableau for data visualizations.
- Familiarity with handling large datasets.
- Ability to manage security topics in an enterprise environment.
- Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong collaboration skills, ability to explore new paths, and work in international teams.
- Experience working in cross-functional development teams using agile methodologies.
