As a Python Engineer, you will be responsible for contributing to the development of groundbreaking products that are transforming the legal sector. You will work with cross-functional teams to build software solutions that make contracts simple for everyone.
The impact you'll make:
- Write high-quality, well-tested code that solves challenging problems.
- Develop backend services and GraphQL APIs using frameworks such as Django, Flask, and other Python-based technologies.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers and ML Research Engineers to deliver world-class legal technology products.
- Work with engineers across the company to build new features at a large scale.
- Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes.
- Build and maintain the infrastructure that our products and components rely on, utilizing AWS services like ECS, Lambda, and SQS.
- Identify and prioritize tasks in line with company objectives and goals.

What you'll bring to us:
- 8+ years of experience with backend development, including Python and frameworks like Django or Flask.
- Background in start-ups or similar-sized organizations, with a passion for building high-quality products.
- In-depth understanding of the entire development process (design, development, deployment).
- Strong understanding of system design and scalable architectures.
- Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication skills, with a collaborative mindset to work across teams and departments.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
