Senior Android Developer in Madrid or Remote

What will you do?

As a Senior Android Developer, you will participate in the creation and optimization of native Android applications (Kotlin) and contribute to ensuring software stability and performance through automated testing (unit, integration, and UI).

• Implementation of native code in Android (Kotlin/Compose).

• Architecture and development: implementation of functionalities and modules in shared code, creating a robust, testable, and high-performance logical foundation.

• You will work closely with Backend, Design (UX/UI), and QA teams to define APIs, refine the user experience, and build scalable, high-quality applications.

• You will actively contribute to the Chapter's knowledge base by participating in training sessions, creating Proofs of Concept (PoCs), and exploring the latest developments in the KMP ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• 1. Contribute to the improvement of and app used by people all around the world

• Minimum 5 years of experience building native Android apps with Kotlin.

• Experience developing UI using Jetpack Compose; knowledge of classic Views (XML Layouts) is a plus.

• Experience with MVVM and MVP architecture patterns.

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs.

• Experience with dependency injection using Dagger, Koin, or Hilt.

• Experience in unit and integration testing.

• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and processes.

• Understanding of the app release process to Google Play.

• Proficient in Git for version control.

• Familiarity with tools like Postman, Jira, Confluence, Figma, or Zeplin is a plus.

• Experience participating in Scrum ceremonies.

• Passion for clean code, best practices, and continuous improvement.
