We are currently seeking a QA Engineer to join our RatedPower team working in Madrid or remote. This role offers the opportunity to join a rapidly growing company delivering industry-leading solutions. WHAT YOU’LL DO:
  • Assist and collaborate with Product Management, Design, and Engineering to define test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria.
  • Work closely within the Front and Backend Development Teams.
  • Help test the application through both manual and automated means by following the testing pyramid.
  • Contribute to improving and applying QA best practices, provide specific guidance to developers.
  • Help maintain documentation.
  • Report and assist in triage of issues related to the product.
  • Understand the business and use this understanding to influence their task prioritisation.
What you should have:   
  • 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle.
  • Experience of working in an agile software development environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Familiar with any of the following programming languages: Java, Javascript.
  • Experience in both manual and automated testing: unit, integration, end-to-end.
  • Experience in automation tools such as Cypress.
  • Comfortable with version control systems.
Valuable skills:   
  • Experience of software development.
  • Continuous integration and issue tracking tools such JIRA.
  • Knowledge of Civil or Electrical Engineering.
