Product Specialist - Finance Operational Scalability
We’re looking for a passionate product specialist to help scale our Embedded Financial Services offering. Adyen has built its Banking Infrastructure fully in-house and leverages its banking licenses in Europe and the United States to offer a variety of financial products. To support the growth of these products, scalable and performant financial operations are crucial.
The role is based out of the Madrid Tech Hub and sits within our Platforms and Financial Services solution. The team is responsible for building and optimising internal processes and tooling that allow operations to enable product growth. This requires a sharp eye for process improvement and impeccable user experience.
What you’ll do
- Understand Adyen’s Embedded Financial Services product suite and support their growth by working with different teams (e.g. Treasury, Support and Compliance) to determine operational requirements
- Work directly with our UX design and engineering team to design and implement easy-to-use UIs and processes used by our internal teams
- Manage multiple projects: determine project scope, deliverables, dependencies and priorities
- Set goals and maintain progress throughout the year
- Get the most out of our engineering team by keeping them engaged and enabling them to work as efficiently as possible
Who you are
- Experience - You have 1-3 years of experience in product roles within a fintech- or financial services environment
- Proven record - You have experience in designing and implementing UIs and/or scaling operational processes
- Entrepreneurship - You are hands-on, and take full ownership and control over your projects
- Project Management - You know how to manage a project and you are able to create, manage, motivate, and hold accountable cross-functional teams required to develop and launch the product
- Communication - You have solid communication skills to interact with stakeholders from varying disciplines and cultures
- Leadership - You have a strong sense of initiative and self-motivation, which will add value to a fast-growing business
