Eurovision Services (ES) is looking for a Product Manager to join our Product Management team in Madrid (Spain).

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Product Manager, you'll drive product vision, strategy, and execution, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business goals.

You will work with global teams to deliver impactful products that enhance customer experiences and improve operational efficiency, driving automation and enabling scalability through streamlined processes like infrastructure scaling, deployment, and monitoring.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying & Prioritizing Needs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to uncover opportunities for improvement and automation. Analyse data to identify customer pain points and high-impact areas for optimization.
  • Defining Vision & Roadmap. Define a compelling product vision that aligns with our strategic goals. Develop a clear, actionable roadmap that balances customer value, technical feasibility, and ROI, with a focus on scalability and innovation.
  • Driving Product Development. Translate requirements into technical specs, breaking down the roadmap into manageable projects. Act as a project sponsor for larger initiatives, guiding timelines, budgets, and resources.
  • Championing Customer-Centricity. Promote a customer-first approach across the product lifecycle. Create robust sales enablement tools and maintain ongoing engagement with key stakeholders to ensure the product meets evolving customer needs.
  • Measuring Product Success. Set and monitor KPIs to track product success, focusing on customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and financial performance. Partner with Finance to create transparent costing models.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, ensuring alignment on product goals, timelines, and deliverables. Regularly communicate progress and gather feedback to inform product decisions.
  • Continuous Improvement. Implement a culture of continuous improvement by regularly reviewing processes, identifying inefficiencies, and suggesting enhancements to improve productivity and product outcomes.
  • Engineering Collaboration. Work closely with engineering teams to ensure product requirements are clearly understood, technically feasible, and efficiently implemented, fostering a seamless handoff between product and technical development.


YOUR EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in product management, with expertise in product lifecycle management, roadmap development, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
  • Customer-centric mindset, with the ability to advocate for customer value at every stage of the product lifecycle.
  • Solid understanding of technical broadcast concepts and ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, including cost-benefit analysis, budgeting, and ROI calculations.
  • Analytical acumen, with the ability to interpret complex datasets and derive actionable insights.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple work streams simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Professional fluency in English is mandatory; knowing any additional languages will be considered a plus


ADDED VALUE

  • Experience with conducting and analysing market research to inform product strategy and competitive positioning.
  • Experience in product marketing, including go-to-market strategies, product positioning, and messaging.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies and trends, with the ability to integrate innovative solutions into product development.
  • Proficiency in agile methodologies, practices and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) to drive iterative development processes.

About Eurovision Labs:

Eurovision Labs in Madrid is the new technology hub for the EBU's new subsidiary, Eurovision Services. The Labs will be responsible for delivering media & broadcast core solutions applying the most advanced software engineering techniques. The new offices in Madrid are specifically designed to boost creativity and facilitate innovation and learning in an amicable work environment. As part of the technology team, you will be working with top international engineers specialized in media while seeing your developments applied in Tier-1 worldwide sports and news content.
